Angle units

Angle is a space between two intersecting lines or surfaces that emerge from the same point called vertex. Angles can be measured in several different ways: degrees (°), radians (rad) and percent (%). There are three special kinds of angles: 90° (right angle), 180° (straight angle), 360° (full angle). You can measure angles (in degrees) using an instrument which is called a protractor.

The units used to measure angles are degrees (° or deg), percent (%), and radians (rad). Use these calculators to convert:

DEGREES (°) to PERCENT (%)
PERCENT (%) to DEGREES (°)

DEGREES (°) to RADIANS (rad)
RADIANS (rad) to DEGREES (°)

PERCENT (%) to RADIANS (rad)
RADIANS (rad) to PERCENT (%)
